Paddy Longs opened July 4, 2007 and has been serving Chicago the best beers since. The owners refinished a 73-year-old bar to become the neighborhood favorite that it is today. Paddy's is now one of Chicago's favorite spots for Belgian beers, American craft brews and the finest cuts of bacon.
The owners of Paddy’s, Chris and Pat, are constantly seeking out rare beers to add to their rotating list. The bar features 18 beers on drafts as well as nearly one hundred bottled beers from around the world. They show soccer and rugby every day of the week, and record the big games so that fans can come in any time of day to catch their favorite team.
Paddy Long’s features an extensive bacon menu, which includes their new Bacon Bomb. The Bacon Bomb is five pounds of ground sausage, pork and beef mixed with spices, and then wrapped in a weave of brown sugar bacon and slow cooked on our pig roaster. The Bacon Bomb is served with a side of potato salad or fries. Think you can eat it in 45 minutes? Come in for our challenge, and maybe you’ll find yourself on our Wall of Fame.
Paddy Long’s also grows a full garden of fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs back behind the bar. When it’s warm enough outside, there’s a decent chance that the tomatoes, basil and jalapenos in your meal are all freshly grown from the back.
