“Paddy Long’s is a fairly unassuming, Irish-inflected Lincoln Park bar with a well-priced international beer selection (charmingly chalked onto the bar’s blackboard in approximations of the draught beers’ brand fonts). Delirium Tremens and Lindeman’s Framboise are both on tap. A Manchester United tin plaque is on the wall. It might be a departure for an Irish bar abroad to sell Belgian beers, but Paddy Long’s doesn’t resort to cliches. You won’t find any trinkets here, but the convivial atmosphere and great fish and chips make it a local favourite. (Read More)

“…I don’t know which I am more excited to talk about, the beer or the bacon. Stone’s Smoked Porter is easily one of my favorite porters. And it paired so well with the brown sugar bacon…The Saturday night tasting was packed and is definitely a home run for Paddy Long’s. They did a solid job of pairing bacon with beer that either offsets some of the flavors (Trumer Pils with pepper bacon) or compliments (Stone Smoke Porter and brown sugar bacon). In fact, this was so good I may wait a few months and go again once some of the taps and pairings have changed.” (Read More)
